Left Right Christmas Game

Hey there, bud! Whisky Jack here. The Left Right Christmas Game is the gift swap where nobody sits still, eh. Everybody grabs a wrapped gift and sits in a circle, somebody reads a silly Christmas story out loud, and on every LEFT, RIGHT and ACROSS the gifts go flying round the room (a HOP makes the next pass go further). When the story ends, the gift in your hands is yours. Holy moly, it gets loud!

• 3 original rhyming Christmas stories to read aloud: Short (16 lines, for little keeners), Medium (24 lines) and Long (28 lines), each on its own page
• Quick cues for little ones and short attention spans: a cue at least every other line, so nobody drifts off
• Four cues keep everyone on their toes: LEFT and RIGHT pass one seat, HOP makes the next pass go one seat further, and ACROSS sends the gifts half way round the circle
• In the Print files, every cue stands out in its own bold colour, so the reader never misses one
• Every story is checked for any circle of 4 to 40 players: nobody unwraps the gift they brought (as long as everyone keeps up!), and each story ends somewhere different
• Play it as a gift exchange (everyone holds a gift) or for one prize, in a small circle or a big crowd
• LEFT, RIGHT, HOP and ACROSS cue signs to hold up, great for noisy rooms and little kids
• A write-on story page for making up your own story on the night, pen in hand
• Gift tags, 8 to a page, so whoever unwraps a gift knows who to thank
• Edit online, the quickest way: retype any line, add your family's names or write a whole new story right in your web browser. It checks your story as you type, and a spoiler switch shows the host where the gifts land. No app or account needed (the link and password are in your Start Here guide)
• The online editor prints in full colour, ink-saving or black and white
• Or use the fillable PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) or your web browser
• Low-ink versions of the 3 stories and all 4 cue signs (save a loonie on ink)
• How to Play host guide in 4 plain steps
• US Letter and A4 sizes
